Spring Program Information for Parents

Dear Hatton CLC 3rd Grade Parents/Guardians,  5th Grade Harps Parents/Guardians and a select few 5th Graders for Recorder:


Grade 3, along with 5th Grade Harpists and a select few 5th graders on recorder, will be performing at this year’s Hatton CLC’s Math Night on Thursday, March 19th, 2020.   Third Grade and Fifth Grade Harpists and Recorder players will kick off this event by performing on the stage in the cafeteria.  Door 1 will open at 4:45 pm.  Third Grade students should immediately report to their place on the stage.  5th Grade harp students should immediately go to the harp area.  The performance will begin at 5:00 pm and it will wrap up by 5:30 pm.   Stations for math night will be held following the performance at Hatton CLC from 5:30- 7:00 pm and will involve various activities. Also, students that attend math night will get a free book, receive 10 PBIS tickets, and dinner for families will be served!  We encourage you to stay!  

Students in third grade need to check in with student helpers on the stage in the cafeteria and be in their spot by 5:00 pm.    The students will know where they should be on stage by that night.  They will also need to leave coats, etc. with you before they go up to the stage. Attendance is expected and extra credit will be given in music class to all that participate.  

ALL performers should dress in YELLOW if at all possible since the book and activities center around lemonadeFeel free to get creative with the color yellow. Please remember that students need to be dressed appropriately for school.   Uniforms are not required but are absolutely acceptable.  Students may dress up or dress comfortably for the evening.   Harp student information:   Please meet at the harps in the cafeteria as close to 4:45 pm as possible to get ready and warm up.  You will perform at 5:00 pm. Extra attire reminders for harpists:  Please don’t wear anything that will distract you or get in your way when playing and no skirts or dresses please unless you are wearing leggings.   All attire must be school appropriate.  Uniforms are perfectly acceptable.
