May's Virtual Students Of The Month

VIRTUAL  May   STUDENT of the MONTH 


I would like to congratulate Noah Rainey for being the May student of the month for room 134. Noah does all of his Google classroom assignments, he completes his I-Ready lessons in reading and math. He does the extra things I assign just for fun and comes to the Google meet sessions. He is an active participant in those meetings. He has shared his home, family, pets, toys and art with us during those meetings. It has been a pleasure working with such a pleasant, hard worker during this time of digital learning. Congratulations Noah!!

In Room 223, McKinley Townsend has shined in our Digital Classroom!  She attends every Google Meet and fully participates during every class discussion.  Weekly, she has passed her goals in iReady and has worked hard to successfully and accurately complete all assignments.  McKinley has done an outstanding job moving to our new learning environment.  I am excited to see what other success she has in her future.  Awesome job Mckinley, we are very proud of you!      -Miss Bialota






The Room 220 Student of the Month for May is Kale Securro. Kale has not only been online every day, but he has turned in every assignment. Kale has even worked ahead in his math book! His answers in his reading assignments have shown he reads and thinks about the lesson. Kale has worked very hard at embracing this new way of learning. Way to go Kale!

Room 217’s Student of the Month is Alyssa Jacobs. Alyssa is a very hard working student.  She has actively participated every day in our online class.  She raises her hands to not only give answers but also to ask good questions.  She is one of the most conscientious students making sure that she puts forth her best effort in everything that she does giving thorough and complete answers. Alyssa has handled this big change in learning with great maturity and poise.  Her class leadership has excelled in our new learning environment.  Way to go Alyssa!

The student of the month in room 212 is JUSTIN OBRYSH.  He completes all of his assignments in Google Classroom and Unique N2Y lessons.  He also comes to all of the Google Meets lessons.  Justin is an active participant in ALL of his lessons.  I look forward to seeing you at all the lessons.  Keep working hard Justin.  We are really proud of you.

Payton Taylor is the May Student of the Month for Room 222! Payton has stepped up and been an example to all with her diligence and hard work attitude. She completes all ofer online assignments and is rocking this Connected Learning format! She has demonstrated great character and maturity in taking on more of the reponsibility for her learning here at this unique end of the ‘19-’20 school year. Best of luck in her future endeavers at middle school. The sky is the limit for this young lady! We’re so proud of you.

Michael Ilg is the May Student of the Month for room 135. Michael has been excelling in our on-line learning.  He has completed every assignment given to him and has been completing his I-Ready lessons weekly.  Michael attends our Google Meets and sits nicely at the table and listens attentively.  Keep up the great job Michael!

Elena Armentrout is room 219’s Student of the Month! Elena has been a great model to her peers during this online learning as she is hard working and is actively participating every week. She continues to put her best efforts into each assignment. Elena is always eager to share in our weekly google meets where she models appropriate online behavior. She has done her very best with online learning and adapting to these changes! Keep up the great work, Elena, we’re proud of you!

Liam Metcalf is the Student of the Month from Room 128. Liam has been working so hard at home! He does all of his assignments and especially loves doing I-Ready. He puts forth his best effort in his online work...just like he did when we were in our classroom together. Liam has a wonderful positive attitude, too. His enthusiasm for learning has been obvious since the first day of school. He loves to participate in lessons and proudly share what he knows. He is a wonderful example of a true Hatton hero. I am so proud of Liam!

I am so happy to nominate Jackson Harbert as room 126”s May Student of the Month. Jackson has been working so hard from home. He completes all of his Google classroom lessons. He also completes i-Ready lessons in reading and math. Jackson participates in the “Learning Songs” and other fun activities provided in our Google classroom. He has done a great job transitioning into online learning!

I am very happy to nominate Evan Datsko as my May Quaratine student of the month. Evan has been working so hard from home. He is completing all of his on-line lessons and even sending me pictures of his work.  I enjoy seeing everything that he is doing from his home based classroom.  Evan has also been spending a lot of time learning on the

 i-ready program.  He has done a great job transitioning into online learning and I am very proud of him.  Keep up the great work Evan!

I am so happy to nominate Regal Lowe as room 129’s May Student of the Month. Regal has been working so hard from home. He completes all of his Google classroom lessons. He also completes i-Ready lessons in reading and math. Regal participates in the “Learning Songs” and other fun activities provided in our Google classroom. He has done a great job transitioning into online learning!  He loves learning and it shows through all of his hard work!!

Logan is the student of the month for room 130! Logan has been doing a GREAT job with his online lessons! He sings along with our class songs and loves to log on to complete his assignments. When we have a google meet, he is active and excited to see his peers. Good job Logan! I am so proud to be your teacher!






Madelyn Ellinger is the May Student of the Month for room 139.  She has done a great job with our online learning and participates in daily google meets.  Madelyn has even used some of her free time to write and illustrate a book.  Keep up the good work.  I am so proud to be your teacher!   -Mrs. Burley




Lucas Meyers is the student of the month for room 210.  Lucas has been working extra hard since we began our distance learning adventure.  He has attended every Google Meet and completed projects and assignments on time.  Lucas fully participates in our third grade Google Meets, as well as Mrs. Moses’s meets.  Congratulations Lucas!





Camille Suncire is our student of the month in room 208. She has done an excellent job this April.  She comes to every class with a smile.  She is always polite and on task during class.  Camille is focused during class and adds great ideas to our discussions.  Camille puts her best effort into all of her work.  She has completed every assignment I have assigned.  She also attends all of her extra classes.  I am very proud of Camille! She has really shined during this tough time!



Tyler Archual is the May Student of the Month for room 209! He has really stepped up with this new way of learning. Tyler has completed all of his assignments in Google Classroom as well as completing the requirements for i-Ready each week! He participates in our Google Meets with a smile on his face. He especially likes showing on his sidekick (his dog) for us to see at every meeting! I’m so very proud of Tyler and I am happy to see his smiling face every day! - Ms. Lugenbeal




The May Student of the Month in Room 137 is Ninah Washington.

She has really worked hard on completing her work in Google Classroom.  Ninah greets us  everywhere morning with a huge smile.

Alia Sanchez is the Student of the Month for May for Room 138!  She has done an outstanding job of getting her work done and turned in.  She gets a daily Shout Out in Google Meets for her 100% passing rate of lessons in i-Ready.  She actively participates in our Google Meets. We often get to see her family and pets involved in Meets too.  Alia has really shown success in this new way of learning

AND JUST FOR FUN……

May’s Top Student of the Month in Room 40 is Stanley Kirk Burrell!  Stanley has not let this new online learning format get him down because he is “2 Legit 2 Quit”.  He always shows up to his Google Meets with a smile and fresh new kicks and pants!  He is dope on the Chrome and is magic on the mic because he knows to keep it on mute until it’s his turn.  Mr. Burrell has taken this Covid-19 situation very seriously.  He has been doing his part to educate others to help keep them safe.  When his siblings were reaching for a doorknob that needed disinfected, he said “U Can’t Touch This”.  When his dad was about to shake hands with the mailman, Stanley stepped in and said “U Can’t Touch This.”  When he saw a classmate reaching for a dirty surface, that was known as such, he unmuted his mic and proclaimed, “This is a sury face, uh, you can’t touch!”  Congratulations Stanley, because May is “Hammertime” in Room 40!
