Snow Bowl, Akron Zoo’s annual fundraiser, is Jan. 18

AKRON, Ohio – The 34th annual Snow Bowl will take place on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Stonehedge. Spots are still available for the noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. bowling time slots. The 10 a.m. and noon shifts are sold out.

Registration for a five-person team ranges from $300 - $400 and sponsorship packages are available. The event also features a raffle. Winners do not need to be present to win. Tickets are $5 each or six for $20. Prizes include a basket full of gift cards totaling $500, an overnight stay at Nomad Ridge at the Wilds, Akron Zoo behind-the-scenes tours, massages and more. Tickets can be purchased during the event.

The day also features emcees from Rubber City Radio, live animal encounters and more! For more information on Snow Bowl, call the zoo at 330-375-2550 ext. 7231.
